Road Atlanta Qualifying Canceled Due to Weather
QUALIFYING CANCELED
Heavy rains, strong winds and lightning moved in over night, causing flash flooding. Qualifying for today has been canceled. Race 1 is still on schedule for 2:50pm ET. Starts, standing or rolling, will be a race-time decision.
From Race Day officials:
Upon request from the Race Director, and on account of adverse weather conditions, the Stewards have amended the Supplemental Regulations by cancelling Qualifying.
Race 1 grids will be based on the Qualifying grid. Per the Sporting Regulations, qualifying grids will be set on Championship points. This will apply for F3 Americas. Because F4 U.S. has not raced, qualifying grids will be set on the fastest time from either free practice session.
