The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA, English: International Automobile Federation) is an association established as the International Association of Recognized Automobile Clubs to represent the interests of motoring organisations and motor car users. The FIA is mostly known as the governing body for many auto racing events. The FIA also promotes road safety around the world.

The Automobile Competition Committee for the United States (ACCUS) is the National Sporting Authority (ASN) of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for the United States. ACCUS is comprised of the six major motorsports sanctioning organizations (known at the FIA as "member clubs"): IMSA, IndyCar, NASCAR, NHRA, SCCA and USAC, each nominating two directors to its Board. Additionally, a number of independent directors are elected annually. The National Motorsports Council (NMC) is a function of ACCUS funded by its member clubs and their sanctioned tracks and dedicated to advocating the industry's interests at local, state and federal levels so that motorsports, its supporters and fans receive fair and favorable treatment.

Parella Motorsports Holdings: PMH is a burgeoning motorsport holding company that has licensed the SCCA Pro Racing name and, beginning in 2022, will continue to offer those sanctioning and operational services domestically to privately-owned racing series, as well as those promoted by automobile manufacturers, to conduct all facets of their Championships. Its premier properties are the wholly-owned Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) and Trans Am Racing Company (TARC). The F4 U.S. and FR Americas Championships' commercial rights lie with PMH, while sanctioning is still with SCCA Pro Racing under SCCA, Inc.. Together, with independent properties such as IGT, the four series combine to produce America’s largest and most diverse motorsport festivals.
