Formula Race Promotions to Take on Road America Alongside Porsche Sprint

“Three weeks away from Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin”

In just three short weeks the Formula Race Promotions (FRP) program will be back on track, this time at the picturesque Road America. Traveling to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, the 4.014, 14-turn natural terrain road course will be the site of the next event as series competitors have the chance to compete alongside the USAC sanctioned Porsche Sprint Challenge North America program.

“We are excited to get back on track and there is not better racetrack in the United States to do so than Road America,” explained Bob Wright. “The long, flowing layout provides for great racing and close competition due to the draft and many passing zones, which opens the door for any team and driver to stand atop the podium.”

“We are looking forward to a great event,” added Clay Hutchison. “Big name tracks always bring a lot of competitors out and Road America is one of the best known. Our weekend will see an abundance of track time based on the team friendly schedule and provide time to kick back with family and friends at one of North America’s legendary facilities.”

With available camping on site, a movie night courtesy of Road America on Saturday evening and a short drive into downtown Elkhart Lake for family fun, restaurants and nightlife, Road America has it all.

Wright continued, “Every year I look forward to one of our events just a little more than the others and this year, it is Road America. With championship battles beginning to shape up, the upcoming race weekend could be the most important one of all.”
