Logan Adams Heads to F4 United States Championship with Jay Howard Driver Development
February 16, 2023 – Logan Adams, Grandson of former INDYCAR Series driver Mark Dismore, is set to make his open-wheel racing debut in March. Joining the championship-winning Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) program, Adams will chase race wins, podium results, and Rookie of the Year honors when the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda season takes the first green flag at NOLA Motorsports Park in just a few short weeks.
“We welcome Logan to the JHDD efforts and look forward to helping mold and mend his career in car racing,” explained Jay Howard, a long-time friend of Mark Dismore, Logan’s Grandfather. “I am not only looking forward to working with Logan, but also to having Mark’s input and influence involved in Logan’s progression to help get the most out of him each race weekend.”
Hailing from Greenfield, Indiana, just a short drive from the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway and with support from Comet Kart Shop and New Castle Motorsports Park, Adams has already been testing as he looks forward to the first wheel-to-wheel action of the season.
“I can’t wait,” expressed Adams. “I am excited to get the season going and to have the opportunity to race with Jay and his program is a great start for my open-wheel racing efforts. Racing runs in our family, so I am anxious to continue that.”
With multiple race wins and success in 2022 including earning the F4 Championship with Lochie Hughes, JHDD enters the 2023 campaign with an arsenal of drivers that look to carry that momentum and progress with the multi-tier program.
Howard added, “This is just the first step for Logan in what I am sure will be a long and successful motorsports career, and I am excited to be a part of it.”
