February 24, 2023 – After four podium results in the 2022 season and finishing fifth out of 37 drivers in the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda program, Alex Berg is returning to Doran Motorsports Group in 2023 with his sights set firmly on the title. As a sophomore driver in the series, Berg enters 2023 with confidence and momentum on his side with the first race of a new campaign on track in less than a month at NOLA Motorsports Park.

On the strength of four podium results, Berg finished fifth in the 2022 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda point standings and helped the Doran Motorsports Group earn a P4 result in the Team Championship out of twelve teams with only one car entered for the complete season.

"Last season we got our feet wet with the national-level series,” explained Doran. “We learned new tracks, a new level of competition, and we managed to do well. This year, we made some changes to our team, and our approach, and we are expecting to finish on the top step of the podium from the very first race at NOLA and onwards through the 2023 season.”

“2022 was a fantastic year, finishing fifth in my rookie season in a formula car,” explained Alex Berg. “I am ready to come back stronger and faster with more experience in 2023. I would like to thank Francois Doran for the chance to drive for him again in 2023.”

Berg continued, “Not many of you might know this, but at the end of last year the team was in a very difficult position, due to some uncontrollable issues with partners. Francois single-handedly has been able to grow his team from being a single car last year to having three drivers racing on the West Coast and continuing his national operation with me.”
