2020 FR Americas Vice Champion David Malukas Signs with Arrow McLaren
CHARLOTTE (September 8, 2023) – Arrow McLaren announced that David Malukas signed a multi-year deal to join their team and compete for the 2024 INDYCAR Championship. Rounding out the organization’s three-car roster alongside Pato O’Ward and Alexander Rossi, Malukas will pilot the No. 6 Chevrolet.
Malukas finished second in the 2020 FR Americas Championship standings just behind Linus Lundqvist, who signed with Chip Ganassi Racing to race in INDYCAR last week. Following his run in FR Americas, Malukas went on to finish second to Kyle Kirkwood, another FR Americas Champion, in the 2021 INDY NXT season, before moving to INDYCAR to compete in his rookie season in 2022. His career-best INDYCAR finish is second, recorded twice, both times at World Wide Technology Raceway.
