Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Looks to Sweep the Season at COTA

October 29, 2024 – Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport, the team that has already secured the FR Americas Team and Driver Championship with driver Patrick Woods-Toth, looks to secure a few more titles this weekend. With the championship already secured in FR Americas, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport will take on the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in the F4 U.S. Championship and the Ligier JSF4 Series. All three series will see their final few battles on the 3.427 mile, 20-turn road course in Austin, Texas.

2024 Champion Patrick Woods-Toth will not return with the team for his victory lap but will leave the spotlight to his FR Americas teammates. It will be a tight competition between Jett Bowling and Titus Sherlock, who will be looking to improve their current championship standings of third and fourth, respectively. Nicole Havrda and Landan Matriano Lim sit seventh and eighth in the standings, followed by Ricco Shlaimoun and Kevin Janzen in 12th and 14th. Cole Kleck will be switching to the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport banner for the season finale and will aim to climb up a few more positions from the 11th in the championship standings in the final two rounds of 2024.

Nicolas Stati currently leads the F4 U.S. Championship in points, followed by teammate Alex Crosbie in fourth place and Barrett Wolfe in sixth. The team will also be joined by a fourth F4 U.S. Championship driver, Seth Gilmore, in his first race in the series.

Additionally, Kekai Hauanio leads the Ligier JSF4 Series, with teammate Brad Majman close on his heels, sitting fourth in points. Demitri Nolan also sits amongst the top ten in points. The JS F4 trio will be joined by newcomer Takumi Numata for his first race in the series.

“We’re looking forward to closing out what has been a great season with the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport team at COTA this weekend,” explains Team Owner Teena Larsen. “We successfully clinched the FR Americas driver and team championship titles but the F4 U.S. Championship and the Ligier JSF4 Series have yet to be solidified. With the team leading in each championship, we’re also welcoming a few newcomers to the team to help prepare them in their next steps to leveling up on the ladder.”

The weekend will kick off with a test day on Wednesday, which will lead to a single practice session and qualifying on Thursday for all three series, followed by the first F4 U.S. / JS F4 race of the weekend. Friday will start off with the first FR Americas race of the weekend, followed by the second round of races for both F4 U.S. and JS F4. The weekend will wrap up on Saturday with one final race for FR Americas, the F4 U.S. Championship, and the Ligier JS F4 Series.
