Whitney Strickland Leads Masters Cup Championship Field to Start
LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 13, 2026) – Brady Golan secured the Formula Regional Americas Championship (FR Americas) pole today at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Topping the charts with a record-breaking lap time of 1:18.066, Golan (No. 40 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS F3) held a 0.077-second advantage over the rest of the field. Evagoras Papasavvas (No. 71 Crosslink Motorsports Ligier JS F3) will start second at his home track, while his Crosslink Motorsports teammate, Kekai Hauanio (No. 29 N-E-Where Transport / Crosslink Motorsports Ligier JS F3), starts third. Cooper Shipman (No. 10 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) and Christian Bogle (No. 7 Pelican Energy Consultants / Toney Driver Development Ligier JS F3) closed out the top five. Harbir Dass (No. 9 Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3), a native of Solon, Ohio, starts sixth.
In the Masters Cup Championship, Whitney Strickland (No. 21 TF Companies / Hillenburg Motorsports Ligier JS F3) held the advantage.

Eventual polesitter, Golan paced the field during Friday’s practice session as Shipman trailed just 0.063 seconds back. Papasavvas ranked third in the session, as Dass and Bogle completed the top five.
